Payment

Can I pay more than one Professional?
Yes, this is fairly common. If multiple Professionals have helped and you feel as though both should be compensated you may "Pay the Pro" next to each answer. Please note that this will charge your account twice, and not split the amount between the two Pros.

Do I have to pay for an answer?

MyOnlinePros is not a free service. A deposit is required to view your answer, and payment to the Professional is expected if you are satisfied with your answer. If you are not satisfied with your answer, reply to the Professional until you feel that your question has been completely addressed. You may even ask for another Professionals opinion if you are still unsure.

Abuse of MyOnlinePros will result in account termination and possible legal action.

What forms of payment can I use?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover cards. We also accept Paypal.

Why do I "Pay the Pro" when I already gave you money?
Your money is deposited into an account, which MyOnlinePros holds for you, and not given to any Professional until you "Pay the Pro". Clicking "Pay the Pro" lets MyOnlinePros know you approve of the Professional being compensated for their time and answer. This procedure helps ensure quality answers on MyOnlinePros.

Why must I supply an email address to register?

There are two reasons for requiring an email address:

  1. Your answer will be sent to the email address you provide. 
  2. We want customers who are serious about getting an answer, and requiring an email address prevents unwanted posts on the site.

How do I change my email settings?
Simply go to the "Control Panel" to change your email settings. You can find a link to the Control Panel at the bottom of each page, or click here:

Asking Questions

How do I ask a question?

Simply go to www.MyOnlinePros.com to ask a question!

Why can't I view my answer?
A deposit is required to view your answer. Please remember that refunds are given if you are not reasonably satisfied with the answer you receive.

How will I know when someone has answered me?
When you receive an answer we will email you to let you know. Included in the email will be a link back to your question. Be sure to check your "SPAM" folder as well, in case our email incorrectly gets identified as junk email.

Question Formatting

How do I send in an image with my Question?

As a customer you have two options if you need to send in an image:

  1. Email the image to staff@MyOnlinePros.com
  2. If the Professional who is helping you has an email address available, you can email it to them directly.

When in doubt, email it to staff@MyOnlinePros.com

Can I copy and paste in the text of my question?

Absolutely. Simply copy the text you need, and paste it in to the text box. You may also send us any links needed for your question.
